“Bibliography of Turkish Musical Theory in Turkish Periodicals with Arabic Letters” contains the references and summaries of articles on Turkish Music Theory in Turkish periodicals published in Arabic letters. Having researched Turkish periodicals in Arabic letters published between 1831 and 1928, two hundred and sixty one articles have been located in fifteen journals and nine newspapers. These articles have been grouped according to their authors and short content summaries have been provided following the reference details. Articles by twenty seven authors that have been brought to light in this study do document the intellectuals of the time interested in Turkish music and their sound cultural background in this field.
