This study aims at giving a brief account of the contemporary hadīth studies in Turkey. After a short account of basic trends in Ottoman hadīth studies in Turkey, I give an enumeration of the bibliographic sources which list all major kinds of hadīth studies throughout the republican era and books on hadīth literature with a short appraisal of their content. Then I mention some assessments on the overall picture of the hadīth studies in Turkey and reassess them. At the end, I try to give a basic outline of the literature on higher hadīth education in Turkey either in some governmental institutions like Divinity schools and Haseki Eğitim Merkezi or some non-governmental circles like contemporary madrasas in İstanbul and South-Eastern Anatolia.
