A Bibliography for the Papers and Symposiums on Architecture
Dealing with symposiums that can be evaluated within the context of symposium tradition in architecture and the discipline of architecture, this study proposes an analysis under the following headings: - The periodical architectural symposiums of Turkey - Architectural symposiums on annual basis - Architectural symposiums in terms of Organizing Foundations (In cooperation with Universities and Other Foundations, Chamber of Architects, Universities, Other Foundations etc.) The scarcity of the number of symposiums directly related to the history of architecture encountered during the course of the study indicates a significant gap that needs to be filled by the architectural society in Turkey. Bibliographical studies have not yet been completed. However, this study, which aims to compile the architectural symposiums and accordingly the papers of architectural history, must be considered as an attempt to fill in this significant gap in literature.
