Periodicals for Children in the Old Alphabet

The periodicals for children played an important role on the birth and development of children's literature in the late Ottoman and early Republican periods. This article examines the children's periodicals published in Turkey before the alphabet revolution in 1928 in terms of their contribution to the wider context of literature.
