Theater in Turkish Literature: Republican Era
The aim of this article is to examine and to gather the studies on theatre conducted between 1923 and 2006. As a form of art, which is in close interaction with life, theatre is affected by every social event. Since it is not possible to separate theater Works from theatrical literature, the theatrical literature of the specified period has been briefly summarized together with the theatrical events. After a brief introduction of the reference books of the literature of Turkish theatrical literature covering the Republican period, the writings, books and scientific research dealing with the problems of our theatrical literature of the Republican era have been integrated and listed alphabetically. The variety and the amount of the data, however, have led this article to be able to relate to only a selected literature.
