The Literature of the Books on the History of Turkish Sociology

This study aims to critically elaborate on the Works written on history of sociology in Turkey. The Works under review solely focus on the written and translated works written about classics of western sociology. In another words, we excluded the books and articles on contemporary sociology and Turkish sociology. We analyzed the books according to their content and topics. Moreover, to better understand the content of the books analyzed we take into consideration the contexts in which they are written along with the general tendency of their authors. To avoid the overflow of footnotes we avoid citations except for direct quotations and the places that is seen necessary and we mentioned the names of the works used in the references section, instead.
