The journal, Yeryuvarı ve İnsan (Journal of Earth and Human), was published by the Turkish Geological Institution. It had 38 issues between 1976 and 1986. It played an essential role in integrating geography with the rest of the earth sciences. A considerable portion of the articles in the journal were written by geographers. Even if not written by geographers, articles were related to geography, especially geomorphology. The fact that the journal today is largely forgotten and unknown to the younger generation makes it more relevant. This study, therefore, provides a content analysis of Yeryuvarı ve İnsan journal and discusses its significance for earth sciences and geography. It also provides an index for the access of future scholars.
