Featuring Treatises of İsbât-ı Vâcib [Necessary Being] in the Ottoman Times

This article begins with an overview of the main elements of the concept, İsbât al-wâjib [proving the necessary being] followed by information about these treatises belonging to the Ottoman period based on the database of Turkish libraries and Süleymaniye Library. Several examples taken from these treatises will be elucidated and discussed with reference to possible commentaries and supracommentaries (sharh and hashiya). Other treatises will be summarized with reference to the libraries in which they are placed, their sections, numbers and the number of pages.
