This article focuses on the philosophy of religious literature in Turkish, surveying the topics of interest and major issues of debate. We limited our material to the works produced by scholars professionally associated with the philosophy of religion with a few exceptions. We tried to point out general trends and areas of concentration in the philosophy of religious literature. We also took into account the literature concerning divergent conceptions of the philosophy of religion, approaches to the relationship between the philosophy of religion and the philosophical heritage in the Muslim world, and the split between analytical and continental traditions in the modern Western philosophy. Moreover, we stressed some major issues concerning academic standards and the scholarly value of the philosophy of religious literature.
