The Qasida is the most used pattern of verse in the Classical Turkish Literature after the ghazal, lyric poem of a certain pattern. For ages, poets wrote qasidas for various reasons and formed different types in this pattern. In general, there has been a rise in the study of qasidas recently as it has been true for the entire Classical Turkish Literature. In this paper, books, theses, articles, and encyclopaedia entries and presentations about the qasida form are collected and alphabetically classified under ranging headings, where possible. The paper concludes with an evaluation of these studies.
