An Interview with İhsan Kabil on Cinema in Turkey

In each issue, Turkish Studies Review (TALID) publishes articles on the scientific production of our country in different fields of science. The first of the two issues of the periodical devoted to cinema studies in Turkey was published in 2020. Now the second issue is being published. As a continuation of the interviews held in each issue, we wanted to talk to İhsan Kabil about his experiences and opinions on cinema literature and its sector in Turkey in this issue. We would like to start our speech with his life story, his interest in cinema, his education and orientation towards film articles and then continue our speech with his evaluations about cinema production, publications, festivals, and the future of the cinema sector in Turkey.
