An Institutional History in Turkey: A Literature Review
In this study characteristics of certain types of works penned in corporate history through published works on the history of institutions in Turkey it intended to put forward. In the study, firstly, the history of the institution was defined, after briefly mentioning the subjects of institution history, the formal features, purposes, perspectives adopted in institution history writing, titles used, and problems encountered were discussed. In addition to suggestions for institutional history studies, the contributions of the studies to the field of history were also mentioned. The study provided examples of the topics covered almost entirely, so that the assessment has been made about their work history institutions in Turkey.
