Theses in the Field of Sufism: Enumeration, classification, analysis
Abstract
In this study, we will first try to give a short history of the departments of Sufi Studies and the courses on Sufism (tasawwuf) at the Faculties of Theology. Then the theses on Sufism prepared in Turkey will be traced. A classification and an analysis of the theses prepared in the departments of Sufi Studies at the Faculties of Theology will be expounded as well as the theses prepared in other departments. In addition, the bibliographies containing the lists of these theses will be handled and their contents will be evaluated.
